Please make it easier to make a Master Calendar so it is easier to check task timelines across various workspaces/jobs.
I second the comment above! I'm new to Notion and was surprised how complicated it is to have a combined calendar. I'd much prefer to have separate databases, but I'm afraid that something will get missed unless I figure out how to create this very complicated workaround.
True! That's a necessary feature to organize everything! Having multiple calendars is hard to catch up everything
What about if you want the calendar to include two sets of dates for one entry. Eg, the planned date of a task and the date it was actually completed
This makes so much sense! I already submitted this idea independently to the Notion team. A Master Calendar would allow to look out for possible conflicts between various date entries in different databases. How can we put this feature request on the top of Notion's priorities list? (Maybe pitch it to our favorite Notion influencers (Notion ambassadors) on social media?)
Just starting out with Notion and am literally baffled that this isn't a straight forward feature... Isn't the goal of organising one's life to have all the areas of same life consolidated in one single calendar?
Yes, please! I just started using Notion to organize the digital content I create, and I really could use a master calendar that automatically takes all tasks with dates from my various different pages.
Hi, everyone. I'm not sure why the comments section on this page suddenly got so active the past month. But I made this page over one and a half years ago, so the contents of this page may not be up to date anymore. Notion has had a lot of updates since then and I'm pretty sure that especially part 3, making an aggregated calendar, can be done a lot easier nowadays. If there is enough interest I don't mind diving into this topic again and updating this page.
Is there a way to aggregate two existing calendars? I mean, usually we don't anticipate how many kinds of tasks we would have, so the real case is the "Master calendar" may not be created at first, but be modified later. So if I have created a new calendar which already had a few items, some day I want it to be joined with "Master calendar", how should I do that?
Hi David, it would be great if you could figure out something which is compatible with Date Ranges and Timelines! That would be the perfect 4th solution I am also expecting to use it in a similar way as Talia. So what is needed - Multiple Calendars aggregated to one, same task having multiple date ranges, all displayed in the master calendar!
I’ve been asking at least to integrate the projects’ calendars with iCal. Almost a year waiting and nothing so far.
Im a university student so I want to put all my assignments for all my classes into one place but also be able to put them into their respective places
There also needs to have a Google Calendar integration. Can't really bother putting up almost everything from scratch again. A 'master calendar ' function should work too.
This would make my the software 5x better! It's so great for planning. Has everything but an integrated calendar.
Just started using your software, it's amazing, I love it! But on day 3 I am already wishing for this ability, to create a master/combined calendar easily - without merging databases. Just a method to search all databases for dated items and place them on a main calendar view! I hope you can make this feature soon because it would be so useful for everyone, and it does seem as if there isn't a simple way to do it without a lot of editing and merging. Thanks for your amazing web software
